Checking In After One Year

It's now been almost a full year since I've dropped away from the blog-thing, and all I can say is:

My backyard smells like syrup.

'Has for weeks now, as if we painted the house with the stuff.

That's about all, folks. Life is great, work is rewarding, New Mexico is amazing. Mel is doing great after a honeymoon-related ACL injury. The joke has been made, folks. No need to go there.

I'm certainly on the path to be one of the millions abandoning their blogs. I'll check in every now and then, barring a huge bout of free time and/or life changing moment.
